K-12 Museum Tours
The Museum's primary mission in conducting student tours is to provide experiences that are so entertaining, kids don't realize they are actually learning. Our team wants to inspire and open young minds to the history of heroes, the wonder of science, and the thrill of aviation. School age educational events are most satisfying when students are of similar age. Mixed groups of grades that span three or more years result in activities that will not be age-appropriate for all students. If your organization wants to bring a wide range of school-aged students, the Museum suggests bringing grade groupings on different time blocks of the same day or different days.
Although we encourage educational tours for students, people of all ages are welcome to visit the museum and request a guided tour. Visit the Adult Tour page for more information on other tours. Please submit a tour request so that we may plan for your visit!
Because the museum relies on volunteers and they often come from the surrounding area, you must cancel tours 24 hours in advance if you will not be making the scheduled date agreed upon.
