National WASP WWII Museum Ambassador’s Circle

We are seeking outgoing and enthusiastic individuals who is passionate about the Women Airforce Service Pilots of World War II and their official museum, the National WASP WWII Museum, to join Fifinella’s Ambassador Circle.
As our ambassador, you will represent the National WASP WWII Museum and promote our mission to potential supporters and donors in your geographical and social sphere of influence. Your role is crucial in building awareness for the WASP and the Museum’s contributions to inspiring the next generation of female aviators. Ambassadors seek to ensure the WASP story belongs to everyone, not just those in physical proximity of the Museum.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to use your creativity and networking skills to create a strong Museum presence across various channels, including social media, events, and community outreach programs.

Objective of this Role
To build awareness, loyalty, and support for the National WASP WWII Museum in the form of active participation with our programs and/or monetary support for our endowment fund. This objective can be accomplished by:
Seeking out opportunities and representing the Museum at functions in your area. Prospects are plentiful for speaking to civic groups, professional organizations, schools, and universities. The Museum will provide you with Power Points, notes, and copies of artifacts to help you succeed.

- Hosting an event for your social sphere of influence to promote the Museum and garner monetary support for our endowment fund. Events can be light-hearted and simple with games such as wine pulls and raffles. We are happy to brainstorm ideas with you
- Share the Museum’s social media posts and blogs with your friends, businesses, and organizations.
The Museum’s Commitment to Your Success
- All Ambassadors will be featured on our partner webpage with a picture and biography.
- Quarterly mixers to exchange ideas and advice and share success stories.
- Mixed-media aides such as Power Points, photographs, and artifact replicas for all your events and functions.
- Information and presentations on the Museum’s mission to educate students with stories of the WASP and inspire them to a life in aviation.
- Identifying the types of informal fundraisers best suited for your social circle and assisting in execution.
- Making donation requests through your personal introduction.
- Two seats for the Rendezvous dinner at our annual Homecoming and WASP Celebration Weekend.
The Ambassador’s Commitment to the Museum’s Success
- Serve as an active Ambassador for two years.
- Participate and/or host three events annually.
- Raise $5,000 annually for the Museum’s endowment fund through your direct requests, personal introductions to the Executive Director to make the request, and/ or fundraisers.
